Mountain Messager: Waldo Day Camp comes to Greenbrier County

Starting July 1, children age 8-12 will have a new opportunity to participate in Waldo Day Camp, six miles west of Lewisburg. This fun and educational camp will feature a full-day program, Monday through Friday, with before and aftercare available for working families. The camp will run for seven weeks throughout the summer.  

Day campers will work with experienced outdoor educators, an ecologist, a plant specialist, and others in an environment rich in opportunity for learning about the natural world. A certified low ropes course, archery, games, gardens, arts activities, and yoga will make for a well-rounded experience for children. Read the full article here.
