Supporting Environmental Education
Our programs equip students to explore environmental issues, develop a deeper understanding of the natural world, engage in problem solving, and take action to improve the environment.
We partner with schools and other community programs to build hands-on content that helps meet the school's learning goals. We also work with teachers and schools to help them meet science, language arts, math, and social studies standards.
Headwaters works directly with youth and young adults through our environmental summer camps, Wood Thrush Park educational programs, and can provide resources and lesson directly to your classroom.
We offer high school and college internships each summer on site at Wood Thrush Park.
