About Waldo Day Camp

Waldo Day Camp is a summer program in the Greenbrier Valley for children aged 8-12 years. In 2024, the day camp will run for seven weeks from July 1 through August 16.

The camp is located at Wood Thrush Park, 6 miles west of Lewisburg on Route 60. The camp property is 160 acres of forest, meadows, gardens, and streams. The facility features a new education center, science laboratory, classrooms, greenhouses, playgrounds, and a certified low-ropes course. Experienced outdoor educators and ecologists will lead our activities, supported by trained high school and college-aged counselors.

We combine fun, adventure, arts, and outdoor exploration to connect kids with nature and ecological principles.
